It’s no secret that he’s been taking a beating in the media ever since his infamous MTV Video Music Awards interruption of Taylor Swift.  And now, Kanye West has been voted the biggest turkey of 2009.

The “Love Lockdown” rapper received 42 percent of nearly 75,000 votes on an America Online poll, beating out Jon Gosselin, Levi Johnston, and Spencer Pratt.

An AOL source told press, “Kanye cemented his fate when he interrupted Taylor Swift while she was giving her acceptance speech at theVideo Music Awards.  He had a very bad moment, but he helped propel Taylor Swift to a whole new level of likability.”

In fact, Taylor came in second place in the “Who would you like to invite to Thanksgiving dinner?” question, trailing winner George Clooney by a narrow margin.

As for the celebrity who is most likely to go shopping on Black Friday, Kim Kardashian garnered 30 percent of the votes, while Victoria Beckham scored 26 percent.

Jay-Z is currently overseas promoting his new “Blueprint 3″ album, During an interview with the BBC’s Trevor Nelson, Jigga was asked if Kanye West was picking his battles since he got on stage during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the Video Music Awards to which HOV replied that Kanye would have gotten on stage even if 50 Cent was up there. Jay-Z goes on to make sure it’s clear saying “I want everyone to be clear, no one is scared of 50 Cent.”
