Kurtis Blow is set to co-host the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards Television Show
In April 2011 in NYC! This will be the first broadcast of the HHHOF Awards
show since airing in National and International Syndication, as well as on the BET Cable Network now owned by MTV/Viacom.
Hip Hop Pioneers GrandMasterCaz, Easy A.D., Ice T, Lord Yoda, PopmasterFabel, and Hip Hop Founder KoolHerc, will be on-hand today to “Meet & Greet” Press event that will be featured on the hiphophof.tv website. The Pioneers are preparing for the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards TV Show in the spring, and the unveiling of the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Museum & Entertainment Complex the week of the Show.
The development will include the Hip Hop Hall of Fame, a Museum, Gift Store, Restaurant,
Live Concert Lounge, and a state of the art Television Broadcast Studios on the premises. The Pioneersare participating with the developers, designers, and architects to ensure that the historical story of Hip Hop Music is preserved, archived, and told in the most accurate detail. Giving the attendees a unique historical perspective of the art-form, plus interactivity with the exhibits to actually participate in the art-form on-site, and leave with a sense of empowerment, understanding, and appreciation for Hip Hop Music and Culture and its impact on society.
