Research in Motion (RIM) has announced in their annual BlackBerry Developer Conference, by CEO Mike Lazaridis, the company’s new tablet called the PlayBook. The tablet will employ an OS created by the recently acquired QNX (just like the rumour said) called the BlackBerry Tablet OS. It’ll offer full OpenGL and POSIX support alongside web standards such as HTML5. All these will be tied into RIM’s new WebWorks SDK.

The singer and her mom Tina Knowles have decided to add temporary tattoos to the sportswear arm of their Dereon fashion line. The ink is based on the tats Beyonce wore in the ads.

Late last week 50 Cent released a so called Rick Ross sex tape. And if his intention was to humiliate Ross, it looks like the opposite may have happened
Since the “sex tapes of Rick Ross” have been posted, the Miami rapper has been getting Twitter messages from women wanting to get down with the big guy.
Ross immediately sent out a tweet declaring it was not him on the footage:
“Just saw the so called sex tape.. the n-a had a [Louis Vuitton] flag in back pocket but forgot the tattooes..#fail.”

Naomi Campbell appears on the October cover of Interview magazine this month, and in a corresponding photo spread in which she is depicted torturing a nude male model and leaving him for dead.
In the cover story, Campbell says she can relate to the persona she portrayed in the pictorial.
“I have to learn from my mistakes. And a lot of the ones I’ve made have been public. So I always get nervous when people speak about something that sounds like a role model, because I don’t know if I’ve been a great role model myself.”
Fantasia On Tour + Cities Near You!
Fantasia Barrino will hit the road for a U.S. tour in November – just three months after her failed suicide attempt.
The “American Idol” champ will kick off the 30-city Back to Me tour in Richmond, Virginia on Nov. 4.
Announcing the news, she says, “I’m so excited about this tour and having the chance to connect with my fans, the people that love me and have been supporting me through everything. This tour is going to be a real special, intimate experience for them and for me.”
