Tinley Park police are investigating a report that a 30-year-old Chicago man who works as a Benny the Bull mascot was battered by a man at Odyssey Fun World in the southwest suburb.
The Benny beat-down Wednesday night followed by two days a battery at Six Flags Great America where a woman playing Porky Pig was pummeled, allegedly by two men who were off-duty employees of the north suburban park.

A nurse was arrested on charges of smuggling drugs and other contraband into the Cook County Jail for her boyfriend, an inmate being held on murder charges in a double homicide, the county sheriff’s office said this morning.
