If you haven’t heard yet, Warner Brothers is currently in putting together an Aaliyah biopic. I think this is a really good idea, her story reminds me a lot of the late Selena. After seeing and loving Notorious, I would love to know more about Aaliyah. The movie will get into all the aspects of Aaliyah’s life and they are putting in a lot of money to make this movie (averaging to about 80 million dollars). The woman casted to play Aaliyah is Canadian R&B singer/actress Keisha Chante. I heard that Meagan Good wanted to play the role, but I guess that didn’t work out. Chante does resemble Aaliyah a bit more than Meagan Good. Now I wonder who is going to play R.Kelly (lol).
